John was born in Toronto, and attended grade school in Mimico and Michael Power High School.  After high school he entered St. Peter’s Seminary in London where, for the next 7 years, he continued formation for ordained ministry in the Catholic Church. After much discernment, John decided not to continue on the path of ordained ministry, which began 20 years of ministry and service in Archdiocesan offices and various parishes offering adult faith formation sessions retreats and ongoing consultation . For the past 34 years John has led a 6 day Walking Pilgrimage to the Martyrs’ Shrine. During one of these pilgrimages he met his wife Bogusia to whom he has been happily married for 25 yrs.  7 years ago His Life pilgrimage brought him and Bogusia to the Martyrs Shrine where he continues to minster as Manager of Programs and Operations. As a member of a terrific team he looks forward to daily welcoming pilgrims, telling the story of the martyrs and inviting them to continue the mission.
