Mrs. Joanne Adams (nee Lespérance), Pilgrimage Coordinator at Martyrs’ Shrine was raised on a small farm in Perkinsfield, Ontario. Her love of the Canadian Martyrs’ began at an early age, when her parents would bring her family to Sunday evening Mass. She is married to Mr. Ryan Adams and they are blessed with four beautiful children.  She began working at Martyrs’ Shrine in 1992 as sacristan and has held many positions over her 19 years’ service at the Shrine, including gift shop assistant, gate attendant, historical tour guide and office assistant. She feels that the Lord has blessed her with two vocations in life, first as a mother and second being part of the team at Martyrs’ Shrine.
